Charley Horsley

Charley Horsley, age 79 of Grove City, Ohio, passed away from this life on November 22, 2024. Charley was born February 27, 1945 in Greenup County, Kentucky, son of the late Melvin and Callie (Rhoden) Horsley. Surviving are his four children Charley Jr and companion Heather of Springfield, OH, Jeffrey Allen of Grove City, Ohio, Jerry Lee and wife Melanie of Columbus, OH, Brooke and husband Todd of South Carolina, 6 grandchildren Jordy, Kelsey, Jerrica, Raven, Shawnee and Haley, several great grandchildren, four brothers Cebert (Pauline) of Garrison, KY, Homer of Vanceburg, KY, Lonnie (Cynthia) of Garrison, KY and Lonzo (Ruthann) of Garrison, KY, five sisters Hellen Wilburn of Lucasville, OH, Cathleen (LeRoy) Jordan of Garrison, KY, Goldie Wilburn of Peebles, OH, Evelyn (LJ) Adams of Lucasville, OH and Alice Jordan of Grayson, KY, In-Laws Debbies Parents Ray and Helen Mills, Charley's buddy (dog) Jack and many nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Elva Ann (Garrett) Horsley, wife Debbie Sue Horsley, one son Travis Seeling, one grandson Cody Horsley, one daughter-in-law Gerry Horsley. 

Charley loved the outdoors, loved to squirrel, rabbit and deer hunt. 

He will be greatly missed. 

Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH on Friday, November 29, 2024 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral service on Saturday at the funeral home at 10:00am with Pastor Jeff May officiating. Burial to follow at Muhlenberg Darbyville Cemetery.
