Charlotte A. Slack

Charlotte A. Slack, age 76, passed away on March 14, 2022. She was born in Columbus, Ohio on January 24, 1946 to the late George and Bessie Showalter. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Mitchell Showalter; sister, Georgia Travis; longtime companion, Frank Mitchell; sister in law, Beverly Paul. She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia (James) Haller; grandsons, James David (Anita Girizd) Haller and Jack Mitchell Haller; niece, Kim Travis; nephew, Edward Travis; great niece, Brittany Travis; brother in law, Joseph (Cris) Paul; chauffeur, handyman and cherished friend, Steve Fehring; fur babies, Lexi, Princess, Owen who have all found a new loving home with a special nurse, Val. Charlotte was a very loving grandmother, who spent her entire life trying to make their lives better. She also enjoyed reading the Columbus Dispatch from front to back everyday. She was employed with Monterey Care Center for over 25 years. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Grove City Area Pet Rescue. Arrangements entrusted to the NEWCOMER SOUTHWEST CHAPEL.
