Cheryl Lynn Sammons

Cheryl L. Sammons, 65, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away surrounded by family in the comfort of her home on Friday morning, March 25, 2022.
Cheryl was born Wednesday, January 23, 1957 in Columbus, the daughter of Paul and Jane Davis. She was a graduate of South High School in 1975 and retired from Siemens more than a decade ago.
Cheryl was a loving mother to three daughters, four bonus daughters, ten grandchildren and one great grandson. She was also a loving and supportive partner to Roger for more than 25 years. After retirement, she enjoyed caring for her grandchildren, her home and community, was a gifted quilter, and also loved to craft, cook and read. Cheryl touched every life she encountered, with her wit, her word, her warmth and her shared wisdom.
As a youth, Cheryl accepted Christ and was baptized.
In addition to both parents, Cheryl was proceeded in death by her sister, Carla Davis.
Loving memories are cherished by lifelong partner, Roger Blair; daughters, Jodi Davis, Kimberly Sammons, Cynthia Becton, Brandy Keffer, Holly Blair, Candice Torres and Brittany Torres-Azad; grandchildren Malik, Noradino, Rosa, Jeremy, Meranda, Rojan, Rylan, Naomi, Carson and Alyssa; great grandson Mylo; sister, Sandy (Lee) Kellhofer; brothers, Steve (Judy) Davis and Neil (Tencie) Davis; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends. Cheryl will be truly missed and will live forever in our hearts.
A memorial service for Cheryl L. Sammons, will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Newcomer funeral home, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123. In lieu of flowers, we strongly encourage you to make a donation to Capital City Hospice, 2800 Corporate Exchange Dr #170 , Columbus 43231.
