Evangelist Chester R. Steele, age 81, of Orient passed away Saturday, October 11, 2003 at Mount Carmel Hospital West. Went home to be with the Lord. Preceded in death by parents Harry & Victoria (Justice) Steele; eight brothers and one sister.. Survived by loving wife Virginia of the home; children Robert "Bob" Steele, Rita (Jerry) Staten, William "Bill" (Donna) Steele Sr., Karen S. (Charles) Monroe, Judith A. (Robert) Whitaker, Gary N. Steele, Virginia P. (Johnny) Crabtree; grandchildren Tonya Steele, Shawn Steele, Heather Steele, Mark Staten, Angela Butler, Robin Steele, William Steele Jr., Virginia Little, Theresa Stiles, Kimberly S. Neff, Gary Lee Whitaker, Robert T. Whitaker, Sheila D. Whitt, Judith M. Carter; nineteen great-grandchildren. Visitation is Tuesday from 11-2 and 6-9 PM at Calvary Road Community Church 5108 Norton Road. Orient. Wednesday visitation will be from 11-2 & 6 -9 PM at D.W.
