Wonderful Mother

God made a wonderful mother,
A mother who never grows old;
He made her smile of the sunshine.
And He molded her heart of pure gold;
In her eyes He placed bright shining stars,
In her cheeks fair roses you see;
God made a wonderful mother,
And He gave that dear mother to me.
The world lost a beloved mother and grandmother Chhoeung Suy. She passed away peacefully on June 12, 2021, at the age of 83 with her family by her side. She was born on February 25, 1938, in Battambang, Cambodia. Beloved wife of late Pech Prem for 40 years. Loving mother of Voeuth Prem, Kong (Amy) Prem, Khatiya Chenda Prem, Sary Pech, and Chhoeun (Craig) Callahan. Dearest grandmother to James Champasouk, Chanpheng Champasouk, Sydney Witmer, Hunter Prem, Kaylee Callahan, and Max Prem. She was a remarkable cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends. She loved spending time with family, gardening, and sewing. She is the heart and soul of this family, and she will be greatly missed.
Viewing Ceremony will be held Sunday June 20, 2021, 2:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home 3393 Broadway Grove City, Ohio 43123.The family requests that people make donations to the American Lung Association in support of lung cancer research in lieu of sending flowers.
