Christine Helen (Hall) Martin, 81, went home to be with Jesus, Friday, June 11, 2010, surrounded by her loving family at Village of Westerville Rehab Center. She was born to Joe and Edna Hall on February 10, 1929, in Portsmouth, OH, and spent her childhood there; married Kenneth A. Martin April 5, 1948, and they were married 62 years. She followed him through his Air Force service time in the Korean War. They have resided in Columbus since 1956. Survived by her loving and devoted husband, Kenneth A.; son, Kenneth E. (Josie); grandchildren, Jason (Christy) Martin, Amanda (Dan) Edwards, and Amy Martin; great-grandchildren, Allyson and Ian Martin and Ella Edwards; brother, Stanley (Jean) Hall. Friends may visit at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, NE CHAPEL, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, OH, Thursday, June 17, 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 18, at 11 a.m., with interment to follow at Blendon Central Cemetery, Westerville, OH. Son, Ken Martin, and Rev. Eugene Speich, officiating funeral. Rev. Eugene Speich officiating interment.
