Christopher Clarence Schnell, 22, of Columbus, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, August 22, 2007. Chris was the dear son of Sharen Yurkewecz of Westerville and Larry Schnell of Queens, NY. He attended Westerville South High School and planned to enroll at DeVry University. His passions included his many friends, MR2, car clubs, techno mixing and web site development. Chris enjoyed many summers with his Aunt Carol at Kaye's Caroga Club in Caroga Lake, NY. He was also a frequent visitor to his Grandparent's farm in Glen, NY. In addition to his parents, Chris is survived by his maternal grandfather, Eugene Yurkewecz of Glen, NY; maternal aunts and uncles, Carol (Joe) Parenti of FL, Judy (Tom) Murray, Cynthia (George) Doherty and Pat Schumann all of NY; cousins, Jeremy and Toni Parenti, Brian Murray, Lauryn Cummings, Corene Doherty, Erin and Matthew Yurkewecz; paternal grandparents, Ralph (Margaret) Grimes of Apopka, FL; aunts and uncles, Ron (A. Ellen) Schnell, Diana (Craig) Patterson; cousins, Heather, Christin and Vanessa all of Florida. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Kaye Yurkewecz; uncle, Ken Yurkewecz and cousin, Michael Parenti. A celebration of Chris' life was held on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 at the Embassy Suites Hotel, Columbus, Ohio. Donations may be made to the Epilepsy Foundation, www.epilepsyfoundation.org
