Christy E. Burns

She was born in Logan, OH on June 14, 1952 to the late John and Maxine (Sinnott) Glass.

Surviving family includes her loving husband of 18 years, Donald Burns and step mother, Jessie Glass.

Christy was a wonderful woman who loved her family.

She had a huge heart and loved the Lord. Those who knew her loved her smile and could depend on her for anything.

Christy accepted Jesus Christ right before she gained her heavenly wings.

She will be sorely missed by all her knew her.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 19th, 2020 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm with a memorial service immediately following at Newcomer Funeral Home - Northeast Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Road, Columbus - OH 43231.

In honor of her memory her devoted husband leaves this poem:

"A Tear for You"
I fought a tear,
I held it back
but gravity made it fall.

I felt this pain,
I never knew
but now I feel it all.

I hurt within,
I like it not
but still it is there.

I talk to it,
I beg of it
but yet this I bear.

I hold it close,
I push it away
but here does it stay.

I know it's mine,
I try to hide
but it finds me everyday.
