Claire Oliver

Claire L. Oliver, 85, of Columbus, OH passed away on 5/7/2021 at Laurels West. Claire was a prior resident of Hilltop Senior Village where she enjoyed spending time with her friends playing cards, chair volleyball and other activities. Claire loved gardening, listening to music, and traveling the country. Claire was born on March 5, 1936 in Circleville, OH to George Watson and Beatrice (Graves) Watson where she graduated from high school in !954. On June 4th, 1955 she married William "Dick" R. Oliver Sr.
Claire and William were married until August of 1996 when William passed away. Also, preceding Claire in death were her loving parents, sisters Jean Ramey, Betty Bailey, Barb Neuding, Patty Watson, brother George "Butch" Watson and grandson Timothy Anderson.

Claire is survived by her children, Debbie Anderson, Dick Oliver Jr., Becky Oliver and Ed (Candy) Oliver. Loving sister Susan Jackson. Grandchildren Tina Canini, Travis Muncy, and Mitch Oliver. Great grandchildren Halie (Greg) Plotner, Phillip Jackman, Trey Keeton, and Charlie Muncy. Claire is also survived by loving friend James Ward, many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Family will host a celebration of life memorial service on Saturday May 22nd from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Grove City. In lieu of flowers please consider donating to the American Heart Association in Claire's memory, http://www2.heart.org/goto/C_Oliver.
