Clara Jo Stafford, 83, of Columbus, passed away Friday, July 27, 2012 at Highbanks Care Center.
She was born August 22, 1928 in Marysville, daughter of the late Jesse and Verna Erwin Cook.
In addition to her parents, Clara was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Stafford Sr. and brother, Francis Eugene Cook.
She is survived by her children, Carl (Muriel) Stafford Jr., James (Debra) Stafford, Bobbi Sue Leahy, Thomas Stafford and Gini Payne; grandchildren, Lisa, Amy, Emily, Jesse, Chris, Stephen, Brooke and eleven great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 1, 2012 from 5:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus.
Funeral service will be Thursday, August 2, 2012 at the funeral home at 11:00 AM.
Interment will be in Northlawn Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Tridia Hospice, 2215 CityGate Dr. Columbus, OH 43219.
