Clarence "Jakie" Beck, 87, passed away January 1, 2010 at his home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Coral (Kidner) and Ray; wife, Dorothy; and sister-in-law Peggy. He is survived by his son, George (Marion) Beck; brothers, David and Kenneth (Eleanor) Beck; sisters-in-law, Patty, Vera, Bea and Norma; brother-in-law, Bill; grandchildren, Kevin R. Beck and Rachel (Manuel) Montanez; great-grandchildren, Morgan, Austin, Torrance, Manuel Jr., Maxwell and Triniti; as well as many nieces, nephews and valuable friends. Visitation Friday, January 8, 2010 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus, OH. Funeral Service Saturday, January 9, 2010 at 9:30 AM at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Maplewood Cemetery.
