Clarence "Joe" Joseph Deible Jr. of Columbus, OH passed away May 16, 2023. He was born on April 27, 1952 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Clarence and Marcella Deible. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by grandparents, aunts and uncles. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Joyce Deible and their children Heather (Brian) Ray, Christopher (April) Deible. Grandchildren, Brian III (Emily) Ray, Billy (Karah) Deible, Clayton (Chase) Ray, Hannah Ray, Shelby Deible, six great grandchildren, mother-in-law Audalna Barnes, sister-in-law Carol (Gary) Toops, brother-in-law Bill Barnes, uncles Tommy (Darlene) Darst, Dale (Felicia) Deible, aunts Eleamor, Cathy (Norm) Rinehart, sister, Virginia Lewis, little brother, Bill (Lisa) Deible, and dear friends the Channel family (Zoey Mae.) Along with many other family and friends, including nieces and nephews.
He was a football and baseball coach for Georgian Heights for 16 years. He retired from Mid State Bolt and Nut Company after 48 years. He was a Marion Franklin graduate in 1972. He loved the outdoors; He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and Ohio State Buckeye fan. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandpa who loved spending time with his family and friends. He was very proud of his garden and flowers. Joe never met a stranger, he was a social butterfly.
Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel 3393 Broadway Grove City, OH, on Friday May 19,2023 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral service will be held on Saturday at the funeral home at 10:00am. Burial to follow at Obetz Cemetery Obetz, Ohio.
