Claude Dotson

Claude Ray Dotson, age 84 of Columbus, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2022. He was born on October 4, 1937 in Clarksburg, West Virginia to Olie and Faye Dotson. Claude graduate from Central High School. He was a retired member of Heat and Frost Insulators Local #44. He served as a member of the U.S Naval Reserve and was a member of Moose Lodge #11. Claude was an active classic car enthusiast, who enjoyed camping and NASCAR.

He was preceded in death by parents and grandson Matthew Keith Dotson. Claude is survived by his loving wife of 63 years Barbara (Holley) Dotson, son Keith (Debbie) Dotson, daughter Cristal (Joe) Foreman, grandsons John Helsel, Mark (Sarah) Dotson, Cole (Brooke) Foreman, Colin Foreman, great-grandson's Max and Sam Dotson, sister Georgiana (Robert) Waters, sisters-in-law Charlotte Marker and Patricia Thompson and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH on Friday, August 5, 2022 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Funeral service on Saturday at the funeral home at 11:00am with Scott Holley officiating. Burial to follow at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, OH.
