On October 20, 2022 Cleta Mae Prater our loving Nana, Mommy and wife was greeted at heavens gate by her baby daughter Pamsie Doodle Bug, her mommy & daddy , Alma (Lawhun) and Norman Crose, sisters Suma , baby Frances and brothers baby Eugene, Loyld and Darrel. And running from the rainbow bridge Tonti, Snubie, Katt, Tina and Gypsy.
She leaves behind so many who love her and will miss her everyday. Her husband of fifty five years Randy and daughter her Sissy Brenda (James) Granddaughters Mindi her little Robin and Tyka (Brian) Her Great grand daughters Johneta her birthday soul mate and little tap dancer (John) Riley and Taylor. Her Baby Great Great Granddaughter Gianna . Her babies Sofia, Amelia, Jace and Dominick.
Cleta lived a glamorous life on and off stage. She performed many years at Frontier Ranch with some of country's finest and will forever be known as Ohio's sweetheart of country music.
After retiring from music in 1969 she devoted her life to her husband Randy, Grandbabies and her church Beacon of Hope.
The last year and a half dementia took away so many of her memories with us but as for music it never left her heart , soul nor memory up until the very end. She is now singing and walking once more.
We may have lost the matriarch of our family but heaven has gained an angel.
