Clifton E. Thigpen, 59, Columbus, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2011, surrounded by his loving family. Cliff was born in Columbus, OH on September 13, 1951, to A.C. and Elsie (Graves) Thigpen and is preceded in death by his father; two brothers, Mark Eugene and Steve Thigpen. Survivors include his mother, Elsie Estrada; sister, Diane Thigpen Bolding; brothers, Robert (Freda) and Thomas Thigpen; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Cliff was a dedicated loyal employee of Smiths Medical for over 20 years. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 24, 2011, 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM. Larry Burchett, long time friend of Cliff's, will officiate.
