Clinton E. Marcum, age 62, of Grove City, passed away surrounded by his family on June 1, 2022. He was born on March 21, 1960, to Clarence and Arthena (Waller) Marcum.
Clinton was a very loving husband, dad, and the world's best Papaw. He was truly a jack of all trades, whether something needed fixed or giving a helping hand. He had a passion for rebuilding his '68 Chevelle. He enjoyed four-wheeling with his dad and his brothers, picking at his sisters and sister-in-laws, and checking up on his mom. He also loved shopping at Meijer's, and enjoying dinner at Fiesta Mariachi with his wife and granddaughter, often followed up with time in the hot tub! The title "daddy's girl" was something he wore proudly, and he was so proud of the mother Casey became. He loved his Pepsi Max, and late nights visiting with his Son with Modelo's in hand. He and Allen would talk about chicken fights and "back when they were roofing."
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Tina Marcum; daughter, Casey (David) Vendetti; granddaughter, Amber-leigh; son, Shannon (Chrissy) Boswell; grandsons, Little Shannon and Christopher; son, Clinton Compton; siblings, Debbie (Clarence) Marcum, Clarence Marcum Jr. "Buggy", Tina Chaffin (Bobby May) and Bryan Keith (Melissa) Marcum; many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and his loving mother-in-law, Wanda Underwood; and his best friend, Allen (Donna) Fox; and many other friends.
He was preceded in death by his father; father-in-law, Richard Underwood; brother-in-laws, Rodney, Jamie, Michael and Jeff Forsythe; and his uncles, J.C., Clinton and Bill Waller; and his niece, Christina Anderson (Chaffin).
The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 9, 2022, from 4-7 p.m., at Newcomer SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, 43123. A Funeral Service will begin at 7 p.m. Pastor Tim Womack will officiate.
"Love you from the bottom of my heart baby, meet you at home." From Clinton to Tina.
