Cloyce C. Carter, 81, Grove City, OH, passed away Sunday, September 5, 2010. Cloyce was born in Peebles, OH to James B. and Bertha (Blair) Carter on April 8, 1929, and is preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Kimra Carter. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Ellen (Frey) Carter; daughters, Madeline (Ralph) Mcalister and Pam (Billy) Pickell; son, Bud (Polly) Carter; sister, Rachel Clark; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, many friends, his special little buddy, "Gizzy" and his sunshine, Allie. Cloyce retired after 25 years from Applied Distribution as a diesel mechanic. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2010, 5-8PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH with the Funeral Service on Thursday, September 9, 2010, 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery.
