Clyde "Earl" Crabtree, Jr. of Columbus, went home to be with the Lord at his residence on November 2, 2006. Preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Earl and Clara Marie (Bell) Crabtree; brother, Ralph Donald Crabtree; granddaughter, Cynthia Sue Louise Sigman; son, Michael A. Crabtree; son-in-laws, Larry Sigman I, Donald E. Conley. Earl is survived by his wife of 55 years, Dorothy (Linley) Crabtree; son, Dr. Steven (Reata) Crabtree, Mt. Vernon; daughters, Susan Sigman, Grove City, Pastors Vicky ( Gilbert) Jarrell, Grove City, Cheryl Alloway, Mt. Sterling, Kathy Conley, Grove City; brothers, Paul (Doris) Crabtree, Grove City, Rev. Johnny (Pam) Crabtree, Mt. Vernon; sisters, Wanda Jean Kantor, Columbus, Nancy Carol Fossett, Ironton; grandchildren, Teresa, Larry II, Christopher Sigman, Gregory, Thomas Crabtree, Amy McCoy, Michael, Monica Crabtree, Matthew, Richard, Scott Alloway, Kristy Foreman, Misty, Joshua Vargo; 22 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and friends. Earl was the founder of The Bible Believing Christian Church and ministered for over 50 years where he touched many lives. He will be greatly missed. We would like to express a special thanks to Passport, Heartland Hospice and Touch of Grace and to Bill Smith for his faithfullness in prayer and visitations. Viewing will be held Sunday, November 5, 2006, 2-4 p.m. & 6-8 p.m. at Calvary Rd. Community Church, 5108 Norton Road, Grove City, with the service being held on Monday, November 6, 1:00 p.m. Rev.
