Prophetess Dr. Comfort Nnenna Kalu was born Nnenna Kalu Ulu on February 23, 1949 to Mazi Kalu Ulu and his wife Grace in the town of Ututu, Arochukwu Local Government Area of Imo State, Nigeria. She was called to rest in the Lord Jesus Christ on February 21, 2022.
Comforts' primary and secondary education was at Aggrey Memorial Grammar School, followed by a stint as an elementary school teacher. She married her husband, Rev. Kalu S. Kalu in 1974 and had five children: Sunny Uchenna, Olivia Uzoma, Chinenye 'Chey', Gloria Ugonne (deceased) and Johnson Chibuzo.
She moved to the United States with her children in 1983 in order to join her husband and took a Master's Degree and a Ph.D. both in Educational Administration. Comfort devoted her life to the service of her Savior and Master Jesus Christ.
She founded the Fountain of Living Water Ministries International of which she was the Pastor. She is fondly remembered for her evangelism, outreach, help and comfort to the needy among her other humanitarian endeavors.
