Connie Nunziante, 90, of Columbus and formerly of Galion, OH, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2009, surrounded by her loving family. Born to Michael F. and Maria G (Giuseppa) Ciaramella in Barberton, OH on January 2, 1919, Connie was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Frank Sherman; sisters, Josephine Ventrone and Pasqulina Ciaramella. Survivors include her husband, Umberto "Albert" Nunziante; sons, Salvatore "Ted" Nunziante and Mike (Lisa) Nunziante; daughter, Joanne (Mike) Miles; grandchildren, Michael F. (Beth) Nunziante II, Andrea (Dan) Beckerman, Derrick M. Nunziante, Sean (Chrissy) Peterson, Brandie Peterson, Kylie Nunziante, Erin Nunziante; great-grandchildren, Malachi, Madalyn, Jacob, Emma, Abby and Kyley. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2009, 2-4 PM & 6-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2009, 10:00 AM at St. Anthony Parish, 1300 Urban Drive, Columbus, OH. 43229. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Lewis Center, OH.
