Connie Mae Sinclair Lewis

It is with great sadness and oh so broken hearts that we announce the passing of Connie Mae Sinclair Lewis, age 77, of Columbus on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 after battling illness.

She was born on October 15, 1945 in Columbus to the late Richard Sr. and Greta Sinclair.

In addition to her parents, Connie is preceded in death by her daughter, Tammy Lewis; sons, Mark Lewis, Joseph Lewis Sr.; and bother-in-law, Robert Litzinger.

Connie is survived by her sons, Alan Lewis Jr., Shawn Lewis (Michelle Peters), daughter-in-law, Lisa Lewis; sister, Kathy Litzinger; brother, Richard Sinclair Jr.; nephews, Aaron (Cori) Sinclair, Jason (Carla) Sinclair, Jamey (Ashley) Sinclair, Richard (Pete) Sinclair; grandsons, Joseph Lewis Jr., Nicholas (Samantha) Lewis; great-grandchildren, Nicholas "Bub" Jr., Maren; great-nephews, Jace Sinclair, Zach Sinclair, Logan Grantz; as well as many other cousins.

There are not enough words to explain how much Connie will be missed by her family and friends. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Cooking was one of her passions. She was also artistic and had a delightful sense of humor. Connie was a huge Elvis Presley fan and loved the beach as much as sitting outside enjoying the warm sunlight. She was beautiful inside and out, and so loved by all. Connie will never ever be forgotten.

Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 5600 E. Broad Street. Officiated by Pastor Tim Womack.
