Conrad J. Radwanski, 88, of Grove City, died December 8, 2020. A first generation American of Polish immigrants (Jacob and Felicia), he was born in Perrysburg, Ohio. As a youth, he worked on the family farm and was active in scouting. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Stanley, Edmund, Albin, Raymond and John and his sisters: Kathryn, Genevieve, Alice, Mary, and Sophie.
He served his country in the U.S. Army from 1953 -1955 and then attended Bowling Green State University, where he majored in publication management, minored in business administration, was active in the Newman Club and was president of the Tau Kappa Fraternity. After graduating, he worked as County Editor of the Bowling Green Sentinel Tribune and served in multiple public offices including many years with the Auditor of State's office under Joe Ferguson and Tom Ferguson. He was a nature lover, member of the Knights of Columbus, assisted with the OLPH newsletter and also enjoyed talking about history.
He is survived by his wife Sandra, daughter Carla (Roger), son Kevin (Lisa) and grandchildren Katherine, Sarah, and Paul.
Known for his caring and generosity, in lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Southern Poverty Law Center, 400 Washington Avenue Montgomery, Alabama 36104.
