Cornelia M. "Connie" Franks, 83, of Gahanna, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2009, surrounded by her loving family. Born to Harry and Jewell (O'Sullivan) Clark in Dayton, OH on August 1, 1925, Connie is preceded in death by her parents and her son, Erny Franks. Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Ernest L."Erny" Franks; daughters, Robyn Purje, Louise (Howard) Budd, Carol Breckenridge and Dorothy (Jim) May; son, David Franks; grandchildren, Matthew, Lauren and Amanda; several friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 20, 2009, 5-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, NE Chapel, 3047 East Dublin Granville Road, Columbus, OH with the Funeral Service on Saturday, March 21, 2009, 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Mifflin Twp. Cemetery.
