Curtis Ratliff, 95, of Columbus, passed away Monday, April 14, 2008 at Scioto Community. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the Army 244th QM Depot Co. Curtis was preceded in death by sisters, Julia Farmer, Alice Ratliff, Nancy Kendricks; brothers Jim Ratliff, Bart Ratliff, Henry Ratliff, Lonza Ratliff, and Lee Ratliff. Curtis is survived by wife, Sally; daughters, Annetta (Fred) Pilkington of Columbus, Earlene (George) Maynard of Logan, OH, Geri (Mike) Brown of Marengo, OH; sons, Gordon (Linda) Ratliff of Virginia Beach, VA, Bruce (Mary) Ratliff of Eau Claire, WI; sister, Pearless Mae Ramey of Danville, TN; brother, Freeman (Marie) Ratliff of Elkhorn City, KY; sister in-law, Helen Faye Anderson; 15 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; 2 step-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 16, 2008 from 6:00PM-8:00PM at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 17, 2008 at 10:00AM at the funeral home. Rick Baumberger officiating. Interment will follow at Green Lawn Cemetery.
