Curtis Romans, 69, passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2006. Born to Mont and Floria (Stevens) Romans on May 29, 1937, Curtis is preceded in death by mother; sister, Joan Bailey; brother, Dennis Ray Romans. Survivors include his father; wife, Flora (Simpkins); daughter, Donna (Scott) Weisenberger; sons, Larry and Glenn; sisters, Mollie Mullins, Vergie (Elisha) Simpkins, Emily Baisden; brothers, Junior (Bonnie), Billy, Bobby (Nancy), Vergil (Barbara), Paul Randall (Helen), Brad (Gail), David (Mandy); grandchildren, Melissa Kay and Erica Dawn Weisenberger. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 5, 2006, from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio, with the service being on Wednesday, September 6, at 10:00 a.m. at the First Christian Baptist Church, 4185 Parsons Avenue, Columbus, OH. Interment will follow the service at Franklin Hills Memory Gardens, Canal Winchester, OH. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the First Christian Baptist Church, " World for Christ Missions", 4185 Parsons Avenue. Messages of condolence to www.newcomerfamily.com.
