Curtis William Teets Sr.

The Curtis William Teets Sr. left his body and danced through those pearly gates joining Dale Earnhardt, his best buddy Terrie, his mother and father and many others peacefully on the morning of November 23rd, 2022 at the age of 71 with his beautiful wife and daughter at his side. Curtis (Bill) was born on February 6th, 1951 in Circleville, OH to Alvin & Bessie Teets. Bill resided in Columbus, OH for most of his adult life in a house he and his wife Susi have loved spending the last years turning into a beautiful home. Bill lived a life of routine and simplicity that would make you stop and smell the damn roses yourself. He was a man of integrity, and of his word. Bill married the love of his life Susi (Snouffer) Teets on November 19th, 1971 after only three weeks of knowing one another. Fast forward 51 years and their love, admiration, and care for one another is as special and strong as the day it began. Bill spent the majority of his life working for Byers Automotive. 40 years to be exact with a perfect attendance record that lasted until Bill was diagnosed with Lung Cancer two years ago. Thank you to Steve and Sherrita… He enjoyed working with those two immensely. Throughout Bill's life he enjoyed Nascar, Four wheeling with his son, Curtis and grandson, Cody, Traveling to Tennessee, Pepsi, Non- filter Camels, his yard, taking walks with his dog Annakeesta and granddaughter, Taylor. He also loved the crust on his sandwiches and to play Yahtzee with his granddaughter, Taylor even though she beat him every single time (that's a lie but she tried).

Bill leaves his three children, Sons Curtis & (Cathy) Teets Jr. , Kevin & (Sarah) Teets, and daughter Rebecca Gilley, Sisters Kathy, Sue, Deb, Bonnie, and Judy as well as 12 Grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Visitation Monday, Nov. 28, 2022 from 6pm until the time of Funeral Service at 7pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123.
