Cynthia Fisher Blythe of Groveport, Ohio surrendered on July 16, 2011 after a nineteen-year battle with breast cancer. Cindy was born on October 31st, 1955 in Columbus, Ohio to Edward L. and Jean E. (Cannon) Fisher. She is preceded in death by paternal grandparents Edward A. & Mae M. Fisher and maternal grandparents William T. & Mary A. Cannon. Cindy was also preceded in death by her beloved Daddy.
Cindy was a 1973 graduate of Westland High School in Galloway, Ohio. She attended the Ohio State University and graduated summa cum laude from Franklin University in 1988 with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting. She retired from ODW Logistics, Inc. in 2010 after more than twenty years of service.
Cindy will be missed by her husband of more than thirty two years, Larry W. Blythe; her "pride and joy", Dr. Sarah Nicole Blythe of Staunton, Virginia and Samuel Edward Blythe of Groveport, Ohio; as well as son-in-law Dr. Kerry Michael Dobransky of Staunton, Virginia. Also surviving is her loving mother Jean E. Fisher, sister and devoted caregiver Linda Fisher, sister-in-law Marcia Disinger, brother-in-law Eugene Disinger, and nephews Adam T. Fisher and Nicholas A. Disinger, along with a host of other family members and friends.
A special thank you goes to Drs. Patrick C. Elwood and James A. Klein for their years of dedicated care, The Zangmeister Center and the staff of Mt. Carmel Hospice for their care and support.
