Daisy Mildred Garrad, age 93, passed away June 8, 2006 peacefully at Manor Care Westerville surrounded by her loving family. Born September, 18, 1912, in Jelico, TN to the late Simon and Sarah (Terry) Carr, Daisy was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Garrad and 11 brothers and sisters. She is survived by her children Thomas and Ralph (Evelyn) Roettker, Loretta "Lori" (Walter) Morrow, Vaughn (Connie) Garrad, 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends from, 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00PM Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus, Ohio. Funeral services will be held 11:00AM Wednesday, June 14, 2006 at the funeral home with visitation from 9:00AM until time of services. Reverend Richard Ellsworth will be officiating with interment at Fairview Memorial Park. Messages of condolence may be left at www.newcomerfamily.com
