Dale Eugene Lane, 63, of Columbus passed away February 9, 2011 at Newark Health Care. He was born April 29, 1947 in Lancaster to Paul Eugene and Betty Jane Lane. Dale was preceded in death by grandparents, Dale and Lillian Phillips, as well as his parents. Dale is survived by his loving wife, Susan; children, Jeremy (Susan), Jonathan Andrew, Justin (Whittney), Jennifer and Julie; siblings, Frank Homer, Dick Homer and Sandy Lane; and 9 grandchildren. Dale enjoyed barrel racing, hunting, and NASCAR. Dale was a Vietnam Veteran of the U.S.A.F. in 1968. Visitation will be held Friday, February 11, 2011 from 5-8 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123. Funeral service will be Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 10 AM at the funeral home. Burial at Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster, OH.
