Dan Toney
January 28, 1960 — May 24, 2023
We are sad to announce the passing of Dan Toney of Columbus on May 24, 2023 at age 63. Dan passed away surrounded by his loved ones after a long battle with cancer.
He went on to be with his mom, Christine; dads, Toney and Lanuel; sister, Debbie, brother Heanon, his son, Ricky and his grandson Isaiah.
Dan is survived by his wife Amy; his sons Danny II ( Mary), Eric (Ashley), Jesse (Ashley), Damon (Caitlin); his grandchildren Haley, Danny II, Maryssa, Mariah, Emily, Aubrey, Gia +9 and 4 great-grand children. His brother, Doug (Tina), his sisters, Darlene, Lanuella (Mark) and Wanda (Tom), and many very special in-laws, cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, neighbors and special friends, Mr. P, Kelly and Steve.
He was a Harley man who had many hobbies. He loved to hunt, fish, go four-wheeling, play guitar, and collect things.
He loved to draw, golf, go boating, camping, spending any time with the family, and long conversations with his boys.
Dan worked hard and played harder.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus Northeast Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio 43231 with a funeral service immediately following at 7:00 pm also at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus Northeast Chapel.
