Dana Leech Kirby, Jr.

Dana L. Kirby Jr. 70 of Johnstown passed away March 15, 2025, at home. He was born January 26, 1955, to Mary M. (O'Neal) Kirby. The love of his life LouAnne (Brake) Kirby were together for 42 years and then married August 20, 1995, at their home in Johnstown. Along with his wife LouAnne and his Mother Mary Kirby (Russell) Dana is survived by Sister Joyce Kirby Bailey (Lanny), Deborah Kirby Larkin, Sister In-Law Cheryl Brake Brandt (Joe) Nephew Matthew Bailey (Heather), Brandon Ashbrook (Michelle), Andrew Bailey (Laura), Niece Amanda Joy Bailey (Sean) Second Cousin by marriage that Dana call Son Jamie Little (Patty and James) Chad Thompson Dana's best friend and Matt Voight to Dana Family. Dana graduated from Johnstown Monroe High School Class of 1973. Dana worked at Cellar Lumber Company in Johnstown and then to a Cabinet Shop in Worthington from there he went out on his own as a Cabinet Builder doing residential, commercial, Malls, Dealer Ships, restaurants. His talent was endless from his one-of-a-kind design pieces to building about anything you wanted with or without a picture. Dana loved from the time he started driving the Drag Racing world NHRA and owned his own Dragsters, racing at National Trails and Pacemakers. Dana always had a joke to tell a helping hand to anyone and most of all just being with LouAnne. Thank you to Mount Carmel Hospice Care Team.
