Daniel James Beck, 73, of Mt. Sterling, passed away October 1, 2021. Dan was born August 5, 1948 to William and Mary {Moriarty} Beck.
He retired from the State of Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities. Dan graduated from Purcell High School. He also graduated with a BA in Political Science from The University of Cincinnati. He had two masters from The Ohio State University in Political Science and in Public Administration.
He was married to Sandra (Wilson) for 47 years. Dan will be deeply missed by his wife; Daughter Hillary Beck; Sister Sheila (Ken) Minor and many nieces and nephews.
Dan was preceded in death by his parents, Aunt Juliana Moriarty, Brother Thomas (Carole) Beck.
