Daniel Lee Coats, 74, of Columbus, OH passed away August 30, 2010 at Mt. Carmel West Hospital. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Mary; daughters, Kallie (Tony) Duerst and Lisa Coats; son, Bryon; step-sons, Jeff and Joseph Archer; twelve grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; as well as best friend, Chuck. Dan served in the Navy and was a Vietnam Veteran. He will be remembered most for his great sense of humor and love for his grandchildren, family and friends. There will be a private celebration of his life for family and friends. Donations may be made in Dan's memory to American Cancer Society, Central Region Office-FRAN, 870 Michigan Ave., Columbus, OH 43215.
