Daniel B. Hewlett age 74 of Lexington, NC formally of Columbus passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2003 at the Kate R. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston Salem, NC. Preceded in death by sons William "Bill" Hewlett and Golden May; parents Samuel & Roxie (Miller) Hewlett. Survived by wife Roma; children Rickey (Sarah) Hewlett, Rodney Hewlett both of Columbus; Alexander (Cheri Schneider) May of Westerville, Rickey Dwayne May and Roma Ellen (Toney) Lester; brothers Edgar(Jennie) and Leonard Hewlett; sister Marty (William) Curtis of West Virginia. Visitation 6-8 PM at NEWCOMER-FARLEY FUNERAL HOME 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road. Columbus. Funeral service 10 A.M. at the funeral home. Pastor Milburn Trent Officiating. Interment Union Cemetery.
