Daniel William Hollingsworth

Daniel William Hollingsworth, passed away on December 2, 2023 at Ohio State East Hospital surrounded by loved ones.
Born in Seattle, Washington he was the son of Arthur and Lucille Hollingsworth. He graduated from University High School and studied at Otterbein University in Westerville, OH. Dan worked for Scotts Lawn Care for many decades and later ran his own landscaping business in Newnan, GA on his farm.
Dan lived his life sharing the gospel for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved to travel, fish, garden, tinker on projects and his favorite past time, spreading his witty charm to make others laugh and feel welcome.
He is survived by his older siblings Arthur Hollingsworth and Tova Wilson. His first wife, Phyllis Hollingsworth, mother of children Scott, Tracy, Mary, Julie, Martin, Joseph and Rebecca. His Step-Children Robert, Jennifer and Sara. Combined Dan had 29 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents Arthur and Lucille Hollingsworth, his second wife Victoria Hollingsworth and his grandchildren Brandon and Karra.
With the assistance of Newcomer Funeral Home the memorial services will be held on December 7, 2023 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 2135 Baldwin Place, Reynoldsburg OH, 43068. A viewing will be from 2:00pm -3:00pm followed by a service from 3:00pm to 4:00pm.
