Daniel L. Franklin

Daniel Franklin, 81, of Dublin, OH, passed away, February 5, 2011 at Mayfair Village Rehabilitation Center, Columbus, OH. He was born on February 14, 1929 in Columbus, OH to Carl and Freda (McDaniels) Franklin. He married Avalon Fergison. Daniel served in the United States Navy. He retired from the Columbus Police Department after 42 years of service. Surviving family includes, loving wife, Avalon L. Franklin, sons, Todd Franklin, Scott (Betsy) Franklin, daughter, Kimberly Franklin, grandchildren, Jake, Kate, Michelle, Kristopher, Rebecca, Krystal, great-grandchildren, Adriana, MacKenzie, step-children, Christine, Debra, Larry and many loving step-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00pm, Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00am, Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at the funeral home.
