Daniel N. Merinar

Daniel Norman Merinar, age 26, passed away on May 14th, 2023. Daniel was born on July 1, 1996. He was greeted in Valhalla (heaven) by his father, Norman (Dan) Merinar; and his two uncles, Don and James Merinar.

Daniel is survived by his mother, Debbie Merinar of Parkersburg; wife and two sons, Shelbee (Moore) Merinar, Norman and Nilihis Merinar of Columbus; sisters, Krissy (Doug) McNally of Parkersburg, Angie (Jacob) Digman of Parkersburg, Jennine (Steve) Mustard of Dayton, Shannon Joseph of Parkersburg; best friend and soul brother, Nick Owens; father-in-law, Bud Moore; mother-in-law, Paula Marcum; sister-in-law, Katie Moore. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Skylar (Garrison) Williams, Devon and Kegan Devaughn, Shalynn, Jacob, and Tristian Digman. Breanna and Cristian Mustard, Breanna (Travis) Scarborough and Nicholas Fowler; and great niece, Adelia Scarborough.

Daniel was a good and loving father, husband, son, brother, and uncle. Daniel enjoyed many things, including spending time with his sons and his family. He also enjoyed playing video games, listening to music and learning to play the guitar. Daniel will be extremely missed by those he loved and those who loved him. He will continue to live on through our hearts and his children.

There will be a celebration of life around the time of Daniel's birthday, July 1st. Details will be forthcoming.
