Danny Joe Collins Sr.

Danny Joe Collins Sr. passed away in his home on March 3, 2024. He was 55 years old. He was born on July 4, 1968 in Mt. Gilead, Ohio to his parents, Emma Mae and Alex Jake Collins Sr.

Danny worshiped the Lord, was passionate about writing songs, singing, and reading his Bible. He was always willing to help those in need and did so often. Danny loved his family, his children, and being a pawpaw to his grandchildren.

Danny is preceded in death by his father, Alex Jake Collins Sr.; his wonderful aunts, Fran, Faye, Deanna, Janet, Jerry, Donna, and Myrene; as well as cousins he adored.

Surviving family includes his wonderful mother, Emma Mae Collins (Smith); lifelong loving partner, Robert "Tony" Knox; his children, Danny Joe Collins Jr. "Joey" (Kimberly), Kayla Renee "K" Whittredge (Jimmy), and Kaitlyn "Kat" Hope Collins; five brothers, Don Ray, Jack, Alex, Arthur, and Christopher Collins; three grandchildren, Landen and Tristden Collins and Karter Bettes. Danny also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.

Visitation Friday, March 8, 2024 from 2pm until the time of Funeral Service at 4pm at Newcomer, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH.
