Danny R. Hughes, 75, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 in Gahanna, Ohio.
He was born on September 14, 1946 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Barbara Hughes.
Danny is preceded in death by his mother and one brother.
Danny is survived by his wife of 57 years, Virginia Hughes; children, Kim (Ted) Bodenmiller, Troy (Ana) Hughes; grandchildren, Eryn Bodenmiller, Nicholas Seager, Brittany Howard, Chase Howard, David Hughes; two sisters, one brother and a host of other family and friends.
Danny retired from the Timken Company with 31 years of service in 2000. He was an avid collector, enjoyed dancing, and going to the casino. He loved his family and made friends wherever he went.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, August 14, 2022 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Columbus Northeast Chapel, 3047 East Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus, Ohio 43231. A funeral service will be held immediately following at 3:00 pm.
