On Thursday, January 14, 2021, Danny Dodd Williams went home to be with the Lord. Danny was born on November 15, 1939 in Dresden, TN.
He loved playing sports at Dresden H.S. After he graduated he enlisted in the Air Force. He flew on C-130's. He served 9 years, was a Vietnam vet and flew all over the world. He met the love of his life while stationed at L.A.F.B. in Groveport, Ohio. He married Sharon Rotondo on October 30, 1965.
After leaving the military, Danny found his niche in the automotive industry. He worked in sales and management for Bill Swad and Ricart. The city of Whitehall division of Police awarded him a certificate of appreciation in July 2000 for outstanding services to the community while employed at Ricart.
Danny was preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Rachael and Harlon Peery; his father and step-mother, Dell and Evelyn Williams; his brother, Douglas Williams; granddaughter, Kiesha Watters; mother-in-law, Martha Rotunda, and several aunts, uncles, and grandparents.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sharon; daughter, Kimberly; granddaughters, Tekiera and Jamaica; grandson, Keijuan; three great-granddaughters, Solana, Jamiya, and Jemini; brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Christina Rotunda; sisters, Kay (Bobby) Parish, Ann (Larry) Argo, Judy Morris, and Sandra (Bruce) Latimer; brothers, Roger (Kathy) Williams and Steve (Brenda) Williams; special beloved aunt, Lois Simmons, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Thursday, January 21, 2021 viewing will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio from 10am to 11am. At 11am there will be a service held in the chapel. At 11:30am all those who wish will leave for Forest Lawn Cemetery. At noon, family will meet in the chapel for a brief commitment service. Those who wish may remain in their cars in the chapel parking lot to view the Honor Guard ceremony. After this, only immediate family may view from a service road the internment.

Alum Creek Baptist Church will host a luncheon at the fellowship hall of the church. 3857 Alum Creek Drive, Columbus, Ohio 43207, just passed Williams Road on the left side of Alum Creek.
