Darrell Romans
March 21, 1941 — October 14, 2015
Darrell E. Romans, 74, of Grove City, passed away Wednesday evening, Oct. 14, 2015. He was born March 21, 1941 in Crum, WV. He was preceded in death by parents, Lon and Colista Romans; son, Darrell Lee Romans; brothers, Lon C. (Rose) Romans and Jim Romans; sister, Maxine Moore; and brothers-in-law, Bernard Giffen and Thomas Freund.
Darrell was a lifelong member of Pipefitter local 798 and a member of Grove City Masonic Lodge 689. He was a very loving husband, father, Big pa, and brother.
Darrell is survived by wife of 24 years, Irene Romans; daughters, Colista Romans, Tammy (Lyle) Dillon, and Terrie (Homer) Berkley; grandsons, Caleb Offenburger, Christian Berkley, and Jacob Harrison; granddaughters, Ashlee Offenburger and Hadlee Berkley; siblings, Minerva Giffen, Tonyia Freund, Ernest (Melissa) Romans; Cecil Romans; and lots of nieces and nephews.
Visitation Sunday, Oct. 18, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Masonic Service Sunday at 7:30 pm. Funeral Service Monday, Oct. 19, 2015 at 11 am at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Green Lawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Darrell's memory to the American Heart Association, Great Rivers Affiliate, P.O. Box 15120, Chicago, IL 60693-5120.
