Darrol Allen Mason, 85, passed away September 2, 2013. Darrol was born December 25, 1927 in Akron Ohio to Clyde and Wilma Mason. He was raised by his beloved Aunt, Ida Mason.
He was preceded in death by his parents and Aunt, his wife Juanita Mason, his siblings, Judy, Patty and William.
Survivors include his brother Dick Mason, his children Ronald (Deborah) Mason and Vicki (Dennis) McBrayer, his 3 grandchildren, Lauren Mason, Adam (Carrie) McBrayer and Alex McBrayer, and 5 great grandchildren, Hunter, Hailey, Mason and Rylan McBrayer and Evelyn Creamer, and by his special Nieces Sherri (Gary) Houp and Donna (Richard) Moore.
Darrol served in the Army Air Corp., and received an honorable discharge as a Corporal in the United States Air Force. He later retired from BeeLine Aligning Service.
Saturday, September 14 at Sunset Cemetery Mausoleum there will be a military honor guard at 3pm sharp with a brief service afterwards.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion HONOR GUARD post 532, 1571 Demorest Rd, Columbus OH 43228.
