David Wheeler Ashmore, 54, of Columbus, passed away Monday, August 6, 2012 at his residence.
He was born January 18, 1958 in Cincinnati.
Dave is survived by his wife, Judith Brocklesby Ashmore; son, Matthew Wheeler Ashmore; daughter, Erin Renee Ashmore; mother, Cathy Ashmore; brother, Michael Bradley (Becky Cassidy) Ashmore; grandson, Marcus Wheeler Ashmore; his boys, Bear and Brutus.
He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, making nature beautiful and helping his neighbors and the community.
Dave graduated from Northland High School in 1976 and his life's work was focused on sales and marketing in a number of industries.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Dayle Ashmore and brother, Mark Thomas Ashmore.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 11, 2012 from 12:00-1:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Rd. Columbus, with the memorial service beginning at 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 651 G Lakeview Plaza Blvd. Worthington, OH 43085.
