Dave Emmenegger

David Emmenegger, 77, of Johnstown, passed away September 24, 2022. Dave was born June 16, 1945 in Columbus, OH to Carl and Betty (Hicks) Emmenegger.

Dave proudly served in the United States Navy. He loved to golf, cook, playing with his poker buddies and watching The Ohio State University Buckeyes. Dave enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed cruising and going on vacation with his family and friends.

Dave will be deeply missed by his wife Linda of 38 years; children Stephanie (Jason) Shelton, Lora (Dirk) Winkler, Shawn Hill, Amy (Mike) Centurion, Kelsey (Paul) Lewis, Kati (Jeremy) Stump, Chrissy Emmenegger; grandchildren Jocelyn, Tyler, Madysen, Ryan, Ava, Connor, Scotty, Raelyn, Jadyn, Carter, Sophie; brothers Sonny, Danny (Mary), Tim (Kathy); sisters Honey, Nancy (Bill), Mary (Larry) along with many other family and friends.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter Mackenzie, brother-in-law Jim, also shortly after his passing, his sister-in-law Greta passed away.

Visitation will be Friday, September 30, 2022, from 11am until the time of service at 1pm at Newcomer NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd. Columbus where military rites will be held.
