Dave Luther, 80, of New Holland, passed away unexpectedly on September 26, 2021 at his residence. He was born on September 19, 1941 in Columbus, Ohio. Dave was a retired carpenter, lock smith and United States Marine Corps veteran.
He is proceeded in death by his mother, Myrtle Jane; brother, George and sisters, Mary Jane, Ruby, Aileen, Helen and Becky.
Survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Shirley Lee (Baugess) Luther of New Holland; son and daughter-in-law, Duane and Sheila Luther of Limestone, TN; daughter and son-in-law, Shannan and Steven Lindsey of Williamsport, Ohio; grandchildren, Dustin Luther (Lindsey Michel), Kaleb Lindsey (Kalyna Pringle), Cheyenne (Brian) Akins, Wyatt Luther; great-grandchildren, Brody Luther and Anthony Duane (AD) Akins. Also survived by his sisters, Carol Luther of Dunn, NC and Joy "Sis" Duty of Westerville, OH; brother, Guy Luther of Portland, OR; along with many other family members and a large host of friends.
Per his wishes, no services will be held.
