David A. Dwyer

SGT David Allen Dwyer, 50, of Galloway, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 14, 2012 at his home. He was born February 1, 1962 in Everest, IL, the son of John & Yvonne (Phieffer) Dwyer. He graduated from Momence High School, class of 1980. After graduation, he served in the U.S. Army and then married the love of his life, Kimberly Dwyer, they settled in Grove City, Ohio and began their family. Dave spent the next 18 years working for Ardent Property Management and the Ohio Army National Guard. He proudly served in Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2009 - 2010 along with his brothers from the Bravo Company 1-137th Aviation Regiment. Dave was a loving & devoted husband, father, soldier and friend. He will be missed but not forgotten. Ecclesiastes 3:1-11 "There is a time for everything, a season for every activity under heaven, a time to be born and a time to pass".

He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Kimberly Dwyer. His 3 loving children, Carissa McBride, David Dwyer II, & Nicole Dwyer and grandchildren, KayLee McBride, Aurora Dwyer and an unborn grandson. Also survived by his mother, Yvonne Dwyer, Brother John Dwyer II, Sister Yvonne Dwyer, and Nieces & Nephew Yvette Dwyer, John Dwyer III, & Amber Dwyer, along with many more relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, John Dwyer. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00pm, Friday, October 19, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home and Crematory, SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00pm, Saturday, October 20, 2012 at the funeral home.

Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, OH with military honors. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions in memory and honor of David to the family. Contributions can be made to the family at 8645 Fairbrooke Avenue, Galloway, Ohio 43119.
