David Banks, 82, of Columbus, passed away Thursday, April 26, 2007 at his residence. He was born May 29, 1924, in Chillicothe, son of the late David Lee and Amanda Beatrice Hitchins Banks Sr. He is survived by his girlfriend, Sharon Banks; sons, David Lamar Banks and Charles Edward Banks; daughter, Sharon Lorann Banks; grandson, Nathaniel Banks. In addition to his parents, david is preceded in death by a brother, Charles Edward Banks. Visitation will be Friday, April 27, 2007 from 4:00-8:00 PM at Newcomer Funeral Home N.E. Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin-Granville Road, Columbus. Graveside services will be Saturday, April 28, 2007 at 10:00 AM at Greenlawn Cemetery 1000 Greenlawn Avenue, Columbus.
