David F. Witt, 79, of Columbus, passed away March 26, 2012. He was born February, 7, 1933.
David was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar R. and Ruby E. Witt and his children's mother and friend, Maryann Rice.
Survivors include his loving children, David R. Witt, Becky A. Witt, Mark A. Witt, Mike F. Witt and Tonya R. Coons; siblings, Bill Witt and Lona (Jim) Stanley, 6 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank nephew, John, for his care and support to David and his family. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel, 3393 Broadway, Grove City, OH 43123. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, March 29, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial at Flint Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Capital Area Humane Society, 3015 Scioto Darby Executive Ct. Hilliard, OH 43026.
