David Walter Grim

David Walter Grim, age 78, passed away on December 4, 2024 peacefully at his home in Delaware, Ohio surrounded by his family. Dave was born in Bloomingburg, Ohio to the late Irene Grim Looker and Raymond Morgan Grim Sr.; brothers, Raymond Jr., Max, Willard, Rex, and Roger. He is survived by his wife, Connie; children, Debbie Grim (Ricky Bainter), Jodi Wright (David), Jeff Grim (Tara), Kelli Bartruff (Bryan), Heidi Young (Steve), Sherry Norris (Gary); grandchildren, Justin Hobbs, Noah Woodson, Maddison Wallace, Austin Grim, Seth Grim, Kassidy Hoppes, Brianna Grim, Jenna Hoppes, Hayden Bartruff, Jacob Grim; great grandchildren, Kason, Nora, and Azaraha; brothers, Robert, James, George Donald Harry, and Paul. Dave graduated from Miami Trace, class of 1965 and was an US Air Force Veteran. He was employed with Ohio Health and retired after 29 years of service. Dave was Charter Member, Henry Casey Camp 92, Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War. He belonged to the Elite Geocaching Club. He was a member of Grove City and Lakeland Softball leagues as well as Holiday Mobile Home Park golf, pickleball, and pool teams. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2024 from 10:00am until time of funeral service at 12:00pm at the New Holland United Methodist Church, 105 West Front Street, New Holland, Ohio 43145. Interment to follow at Madison Mills Cemetery. Flowers may be sent directly to NEWCOMER SOUTHWEST CHAPEL 3393 Broadway, Grove City, Ohio 43123 no later than Tuesday to be delivered to the church.
