He was born on March 8, 1941 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Harold and Carolyn Howard.
David is preceded in death by wife, Margaret Howard and son, Karl Howard.
David is survived by children, Christina Smith, Gordon Howard; grandchildren, Richard Williamson, Charlotte (Dustin) Wagner; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Linda Cafaro, Shelley Chapman and a host of family and friends.
Family will have a private visitation.
